Die Nachhaltigkeit wird nicht nur als berechenbare, messbare Grösse gesehen. Wichtiger für die Langlebigkeit des Quartiers ist die Akzeptanz durch die Bewohner und Benutzer, dass also ein vitaler Ort, der die Leute anzieht entsteht und diese diesen gerne besucht, besetzt und dort verweilen.

Contexte
Le Quartier “Songwol-.-dong” en particulier la propriéte disponible/existante se caractérise par sa topographie élevée par rapport au futur environnement dense de tours résidentielles. Le bâtiment expressif de l’ambassade se développe/pusse, se torde littéralement de la surface et forme une immense sculture dans son environnement urbain. De par leur structure spatiale intrasigeante, variée, homogéne et de l’aspect de surface, la sculpture enrichit son environnement et ses fonctions prévues de manière d’un parc.

L’expression architecturale est une élément de lien à l’architecture urbaine contemporaine de Seoul. Dans l’environnement direct l’architecture dialogue avec la topographie et contraste par sa forme empilée et sa couverture végétable avec l’architecture des immeubles résidentiels.

Clouds are named among the most dreamlike of ‘poetic things’. Clouds are well known for life bringing adventures and clearing new skies. Clouds are fancy for a daytime dreamlike experience. They call forth easy, ephemeral reveries; and in the next moment we are ‘in the clouds’, ….. and slowly we dip back down to earth, gently teased by positivists. No dreamer, no troll can think about a better attribute for clouds than the solemn significance of other sky ‘signs’. The dreamer always has a cloud to transform. The clouds help us to dream of transformation, innovations and stories. In short, the reverie of clouds has a particular psychological characteristic; it is a reverie without responsibility.
